Personal Coaching
I provide personal coaching services that fosters, creates and
energizes others to achieve their goals in an atmosphere that is
based on respect. Coaching is challenging, motivating, and
focused. I provide concrete tools and suggestions. I
believe that individual coaching should feel invigorating and
inspiring, even though at times it can be difficult.
I provide a framework for you to further a positive way of observing
and being in the world through appreciative inquiry.
Appreciative inquiry has been used with individuals and Fortune 500
companies, such as British Airways, Hunter Douglas and Save the
Children.
Many of the personal coaching services and sessions can be provided
via telephone and email for your convenience.
Executive Coaching
The old saying "it is lonely at the top" can be true.
Executive coaching assists those who are at the top, but are lacking
the objective input from others to keep furthering their growth.
I can be a thinking partner to expand executives strengths. I
have a vast amount of education, training and experience in human
behavior and share this information to help clients in the areas of
leadership, team building, communication, emotional intelligence,
authentic happiness and how to be a star.
Some tools I utilize in coaching are assessment tests, inquiring,
clarifying, education, and objectivity. For ease and
convenience, most of executive coaching can be provided via
telephone and email.
Management Effectiveness Training
Many managers today have been promoted for being good workers.
Many are in sales and are great sales people, but they haven't been
educated, trained, and mentored in the business of managing.
Managing is business, but it is also an art. Being able to
motivate and manage a team is hard work that requires special
training.
Team Building
Team building is incredibly rejuvenating. All systems need
time to repair itself in order to work more efficiently. The
brain is one of them. It is more active when you are sleeping
than when you are awake. It is busy repairing itself and
sorting out problems that you can't do when you are awake. I
like to think of team building in the same way. Many problems
business teams have can't be worked out in the office. A
fundamental shift needs to occur. The team needs to work on
issues in a new environment and from a different approach.
Team building isn't really down time. From the outside it may
look that way, like the brain when you are asleep...but in truth,
team building is incredibly active repairing the team and sorting
out problems so that it can have a fresh start tomorrow. I can
provide suggestions for team building and can also incorporate ideas
you may have for your team.
Team building helps organizations: increase employee retention,
increase leadership skills, increase interpersonal skills, increase
productivity, increase teamwork and increase morale and
satisfaction.
Length of Time for Coaching
About 50% of coaching clients coach for 3 months. And about
25% coach for 4-6 months. 20% of clients coach about 7-12
months and 5% coach for more than 12 months.
